Data Governance Network

Bokaap Design was tasked with creating a distinct brand identity and an online portal for DGN. The goal was to establish a visual identity that reflected the organisation’s focus on data governance while designing a user-friendly platform to make DGN’s extensive research and curated media accessible to its audience.

For the brand identity, we drew inspiration from the digital landscape, incorporating symbols of digital waves, binary patterns, and a global perspective to create a dynamic and meaningful logo. The result was a visual identity that embodies DGN’s mission to lead conversations around data governance in India while appealing to its multidisciplinary audience of researchers, policymakers, and practitioners.

The online portal was developed to be a central hub for all resources and research materials published by DGN. Its primary purpose is to enable users to explore and engage with:

• Comprehensive Research: A repository of detailed reports, working papers, and case studies on data governance.
• Curated Media Content: A dedicated media section providing access to webinars, videos, and related content.

Design Approach

We prioritised a user-first design to ensure simplicity and ease of navigation, allowing researchers and professionals to find relevant resources quickly.

Key features include:

• An intuitive structure for browsing topic-specific research.
• Optimised search functionality to enhance discoverability.
• A media section for users to access all curated content released by DGN.

The portal now serves as a vital resource for the data governance community in India, providing easy access to critical insights and enabling collaboration among researchers, policymakers, and professionals. Combined with its strong brand identity, DGN is positioned as a leader in shaping the discourse around India’s digital economy and governance practices.
