When Bulk MRO first approached us, they had an existing application designed and built by developers. While the app functioned, stakeholders reported several challenges regarding its ease of use.
Our brief was to understand the users’ pain points and day-to-day operations, with the goal of improving efficiency through enhanced product design. It was crucial to work within their tight timeline and ensure that any updates would not significantly impact the existing system’s back-end logic.
In the first phase, we focused on maintaining the flow of the current system while improving the user interface with a cohesive and consistent design language. Additionally, we proposed a dashboard that would give users quick, easy access to everyday sales order data.
By thoroughly understanding Bulk MRO’s business objectives and analysing the existing offline user journey, we identified key UX opportunities. Working within the limitations of the data tables and the technical framework, we enhanced the UI without disrupting any established workflows or functionality.
Bokaap is one of the most impactful partners of Bulk MRO. Even though they didn’t have deep experience in our business, their methodical way of understanding our processes and designing a system around it was so incredible, that they actually helped us become sharper in our own SOPs.
